ELEVATION

      WHY ELEVATION?
  • Elevation of food and water bowls is believed to help prevent bloat (possibly by aiding in swallowing and digestion).
  • Elevated food and water bowls may also prevent dogs from taking air into their systems while eating and drinking (reducing burping and other gas releases).
  • Elevation is more comfortable on Dogs with arthritis as they can maintain a more upright posture rather than leaning down and placing more stress on their shoulders.
  • Elevated bowls are also easier on human knees and backs.
  • Elevation may also help keep fronts straight as the puppy grows. When a puppy has to bend down to floor level to eat, he tends to toe out severely to keep his balance. Many report having corrected "toeing out" simply by elevating the bowls.
  • Elevations prevents Dogs and Puppies from kicking or fishing in their water bowls and spilling water all over the floor.
  • Care about your dogs comfort and health?
  • Eating in a posture correct position reduces gagging and choking while feeding. Posture correct feeding relieves stress on spine and joints, good for all dogs, even better for tall dogs and recommended by many veterinarians for arthritic aid.
  • Shiny steel bowls sanitize easily in the dishwasher.
  • Elevated feeders keep the bowls off the floor and help protect from insect invasion.
Contains high quality wood, super sealed.
  • Felt leg bottoms keep feeders from marking your floors.
How do I measure for correct size?
It is recommended to select a feeder no taller than height of the shoulder blade minus three inches.
Example: height of pet's shoulder blade = 15 inches

15 inches
-3 inches
===================
12 inches = maximum height

so in this example, select 12 inches height or less. Typical 100lb Sheperd would be 16 inches.
